I recently attended a HeartMath workshop.

HeartMath has been researching the heart and brain connection for 25 years. It helps individuals tap into the power of the heart.
Here are my key takeaways from certified HeartMath® trainer Weng Ebdani-Suarez' recent workshop on resilience.
5 Simple Steps to Solve Your Problem:
1. Acknowledge your feelings
State your concern.
For example, "I feel worried that my finances are not in order." or "I'm anxious about an upcoming exam."
2. Heart-Focused Breathing
Put your hands on your heart and breathe. Imagine your breath going in and out of your heart.
3. Activate a Positive or Renewing Feeling
Think of people or circumstances you are grateful for. Or remember events that brought you joy or feelings of calm or ease or peace.
4. Ask
Ask, "What do I need to do to keep my finances in order?" or "What do I do with my upcoming exam?" Don't analyze. Allow the solution or solutions to come to you.
5. Observe and act
Write down the answers you received. Don't filter it. Then, choose which solutions to take. If the answer is not yet clear to you. You may do this exercise again.
I hope this helps you today. If you need more guidance, Weng will have a 2-day LIVE workshop this October 24-25, Saturday to Sunday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm GMT +8.
