About the Event

Yin Yoga is a practice that works on harmonizing the Yin and Yang energy.

The practice, influenced by Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tai Chi, and Qi Gong, focuses on slow movements and transitions.

The three principles of Grounding, Holding, and Relaxing is applied to the postures to help the practitioner sync the breath, the mind, and the body.

For the session:

☑️ make sure it’s been 1-2 hours after a big meal 

☑️ wear comfortable clothes you can move freely in 

☑️ prepare your mat, blocks, towels, and pillows in case you will need them

☑️ you can also use books of the same thickness as blocks. 

☑️ find a quiet space away from distractions 

☑️ listen to your body and don’t forget to breathe!

About Your Teacher:

Jenette Vizcocho is a certified yin & vinyasa yoga teacher. She started her yoga practice in 2013. She took her first Yin Yoga class in 2016. She immediately trained for yin yoga after that. She has been teaching Yin Yoga in different yoga studios in Manila since 2017. She has resonated with the meditative aspect of the practice and hopes to share its benefits with you.
